Two men have been arrested after separate incidents of vandalism at the Dauphin RCMP detachment.
On Friday afternoon, a giant rock was thrown through a window.
The suspect fled on foot, with it taking Mounties two attempts to bring him into custody.
In the second encounter, an officer is alleged to have been hit with a baton, but was not injured.
39-year-old Jason Chartrand of Dauphin is charged with two counts each of assaulting a peace officer with a weapon and resisting arrest, as well as several weapons offences.
Then early Sunday morning, a glass beer bottle was thrown at the detachment.
21-year-old Tristan Hrominchuk was arrested and charged with two impaired driving-related offences.
