Dutch Elm and Elm Firewood Surveys in Dauphin

The Provincial Forestry and Peatlands Inspectors are in Dauphin conducting Dutch Elm Disease and elm firewood surveys , and monitoring for Emerald Ash Borer. The City of Dauphin would like to notify residents that inspectors may be on both public and private properties to look for DED-infected trees, elm firewood with bark and signs of Emerald Ash Borer. They may be working evenings and weekends, and will be wearing high-visibility vests and carrying government issued ID.
