The ribbon has been cut on the Louisiana-Pacific project to convert their Swan Valley OSB mill into an engineered wood siding mill.
The project to convert the mill is expected to be completed next month at a cost of more than $100 million, with production scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter.
LP CEO Curt Stevens said in a statement that LP "appreciates the support from the community, government ministries and local Member of Parliament Robert Sopuck for making the conversion project a reality."
