Manitoba's Beef and Forage Week will happen from January 11-15 and will feature a number of seminars across the province.
The seminars will be focused on providing information for farmers on how to maximize forage fertility and productivity.
Linda Fox, a Forage and Livestock Specialist with MAFRD says there'll also be a presentation on Canadian beef sustainability for the next 20 years.
"It's a fairly large length of time to analyze what we're gonna call the hoof print of Canadian beef is, and what we're finding is this is a really good news story and we'd like to share that not only with our producers, but also that they can then tell that story to people who aren't as connected to production in agriculture."
A total of five seminars will take place throughout that week, including one in Ste. Rose on January 12.
People interested in registering for one of the seminars can call their local MAFRD go office.
