Sunrise Credit Union has donated $50,000 dollars to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal Fund, established by the Canada-Ukraine Foundation and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress. The money from the fund goes directly where it is needed on the ground in Ukraine.
Sunrise Credit Union is also accepting donations on behalf of the Canada-Ukraine Foundation to support millions of Ukrainian families displaced from their homes. Sunrise President and CEO Tim Klassen talked about the donation,
"We are contributing towards providing financial assistance, relief, and recovery, and hope for a swift end to this conflict. We are committed to uplifting their lives and the lives of all those who have been affected"
