The Ukrainian Patriot Fund is raising money to assist those in Ukraine with receiving non-lethal military supplies.
The Fund was started, 5 days into the invasion by Russia, by Lana Niland who is originally from Saskatoon and now lives in Kyiv Ukraine.
Residents of Dauphin may know Lana from her time in town as the adjudicator for the Zirka Ukrainian Dance Competitions in 2019, as well as selling her “Postmark Ukraine” products at Canada’s National Ukrainian Festival that year.
Lana has become the eyes and ears for the Ukrainian Patriot Fund over in Ukraine, and they're looking to raise about $5,000, to purchase radios to assist those fighting the invasion by Russia.
