Individuals interested in joining the Dauphin Economic Development Committee have until the end of this month to submit an application.
The group, which consists of representatives from the City of Dauphin, Parkland Chamber of Commerce, and members at-large, provides insight into Dauphin's economic initiatives by keeping tabs on what is happening within the city and providing input, issues and ideas that can be used towards municipal planning or projects.
In a Facebook post on the city's Facebook page, the group says it is committed to diverse representation, encouraging applications from Indigenous, immigrant, and LGBTQ2S+ community members.
