37 high school graduates, including several from the Parkland, received $500 scholarships from Fusion Credit Union, as part of the company's ongoing commitment to supporting youth and education. 
The recipients not only excelled academically, but also showed strong leadership, community involvement, and a desire to make a positive impact. 
Students from 11 different communities received the scholarships, 
Among those recognized were: 
Carli Durston, Addison Damsgaard, Avery Scott, Faith Wieler, Ava Knuston, Brooke Shewchuk, and Josie Paradis all of the DRCSS.  
Brittany Stratuliak and Payton Dudar of Ethelbert.
Lauren Campbell, Taylor McGinnis, Carter Johnston, Brynn Galbraith, Elizabeth Gingrich - all from Goose Lake in Roblin. 
Hayden Mackedenski and Rhianna Melnyk of Rossburn.
Katelyn Preston from Ste Rose.
Anika Gulenchin from Gilbert Plains.
Shelbi McFarlane, Raphael Mowbray, Chloe Beischer, Douglas Spurway, Reese Talbot, and Eva Aitchison all of Major Pratt in Russell.
Since its inception, the Fusion Credit Union Scholarship program has awarded over $118,000 in funds to graduating students who are pursuing post-secondary education.
