The Winnipeg Blue Bombers season is disastrous, and another big hit has been received.

Reports are out indicating that all-star receiver Dalton Schoen will miss the remainder of the 2024 season. He was placed on the six-game injured list on Monday after suffering a non-contact knee injury during the team's Week 3 loss to the B.C. Lions.

Winnipeg is already without Kenny Lawler, who fractured his arm in the team's season-opener. Schoen signed a one-year deal worth $230,000 to stay with Winnipeg this past off-season. Since joining the Blue & Gold in 2022, Schoen has made 155 catches for 2,822 yards and 26 touchdowns.

He was a league all-star in the past two years, leading the league in receiving touchdowns on both occasions. He won the league's Most Outstanding Rookie award in 2022.

Still without a win after three games, the Bombers will look to secure their first victory when they play the Calgary Stampeders on Saturday night.
