The Dauphin Kings saw their eight-game point streak come to a close on Friday night.
Despite opening up the scoring and netting the first two goals of the game as Neepawa was in town, it was the Titans that scored four straight goals on 26 shots in a 4-2 victory against Dauphin, as the Kings dropped their first game against Neepawa this season after back-to-back wins against them.
Havyril Simchuk scored his first of the season early in the first and Naaman Hofer scored his third of the campaign to give Dauphin a 2-0 lead early. The Titans scored twice the rest of the period to tie it and scored the game winner with 2:11 left in the third. DJ Meloney, Talen Wallis, Carter McLeod, and Dawson McCann did the scoring for Neepawa in the victory.
Dauphin (14-5-1) is now tied with the Blizzard for first in the MGEU West Division after Norman downed Portage on Friday. The Kings welcome Swan Valley to town on Saturday.
