The Manitoba government is investing $4.8 million to assist the Town of Neepawa to upgrade two sections of Provincial Trunk Highway 16.
The improvements will be done to the Trans-Canada Highway Yellowhead section, to improve access to the newly expanded health centre.
The first project involves a contribution toward the extension of Hamilton Street from Broadway Avenue and including new access to Provincial Trunk Highway 16
The second project will complete the connectivity to Provincial Trunk Highway 16 where Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure is proceeding with a traffic safety improvement project that will include a dedicated right-turn lane into the Neepawa Health Centre and a right-turn cut-off out of the hospital.
