Residents of Ebb & Flow First Nation will elect their next Chief and Council on July 23rd.
Voting will take place that day from 9 am to 8 pm at the Ebb & Flow First Nation Arena Complex.
A total of three candidates are running for the Chief position, including current Chief Wayne Desjarlais, and challengers Arlene Mousseau and Judy Levasseur.
The vote for the four Council positions will be contested between 19 candidates.
They include Brenda Baptiste, Darren Mousseau, Margaret Racette, Annette (Lorena) Flett, Priscilla Levasseur, Ed Shingoose, Chasity Levasseur, John Carl Houle, Donna Beaulieu, Wallace Roulette, Darrell Mousseau, Stacy Beaulieu, Carman Karey Malcolm, Nelson Houle, Lorraine Houle, Rita Baptiste, Corbin Mousseau, Bruce Desjarlais, and Charlie Houle.
