McCreary Municipality is advising its residents that there is now a boil water advisory in effect for the municipality.
It has been brought on by a drop in water pressure due to water line repairs currently underway in the community.
Residents must bring water to a rolling boil for one minute before using the water for any kind of consumption, including drinking, brushing teeth or food preparation, which includes baby formula.
The advisory is also in effect for water obtained through the Bulk Water station in McCreary.
