Harvest of some crops is on hold in some parts of the Northwest region after significant amounts of precipitation over the past week.
According to the latest Crop report from Manitoba Agriculture, Ethelbert received the most rain over the past week in the entire province, at 145.6 mm.
Before the rain, harvest of fall rye, winter wheat, and some field pea crops had started.
Other field pea crops are in the R6 to R7 stage with desicrations underway.
Pre-harvest applications continue for spring wheat crops. Most canola fields are wrapping up flowering and are podded, while Soybean crops are in the R4 stage and range in condition.
