Mountain View School Division has announced the passing of school board trustee John Taylor.
In a social media post, MVSD officials say Taylor will be remembered for his desire to see greater engagement and student ownership, with students striving for greater personal growth.
The post added that Taylor was a valued member of the school board as well as an active member of the community.
The cause of his death was not released.
