The Russell fairgrounds will be hopping next weekend as the 4th annual Russell Ag Days are scheduled for August 21st to 23rd.
Russell Ag Society Director Vicky Davidson says they are bringing in some new events this year.
"We have quite a bit of roping, as well as a cowboy contest which consists of ranch-style roping and things that they do every day in their home lives. And they bring it to the grounds to compete and to have a bit of fun. We also have some ladies breakaway roping, which has become a new, up-and-coming event."
Other highlights include the finals of the Russell Barrel Series, a pancake breakfast, Craft Market, Live Music, and a Chili supper.
There is no admission cost to attend Ag Days.
