A Ste. Rose charity will be the first beneficiary of a new Dauphin Co-op Charity Number launched this week.
Marketing and Communications Manager Joan Chetyrbok explains how it works.
"We have opened a new Charity Co-op Number [26444]. If any members, or just shoppers, want to use this number, any equity that is earned on their purchase will go directly to the Ste. Rose Turtle River Trails."
Phase Two of the Turtle River Trails project is underway, and is expected to be completed by the summer of 2026.
When it's finished, the former Ducks Unlimited Trails will be known as Co-op Community Family Nature Trails, after Co-op made an $85,000 donation in 2023 through its Community Spaces Fund.
