The 14th edition of Dauphin Culture Days begins later this week.

Spokesperson Jean-Louis Guillas says the traditional Yard Fringe event is being replaced with something similaar, but different at the same time.

"There are still a couple of bike events.  There will be a Bike Jam, where we are going to go around town witha D-J and enjoy music and being out on our bikes around Dauphin.  On Saturday, September 27th, there will be 3-4 locations with multiple events, and we are encouraging everyone to still come by bike.  We willl have bike wardens to keep yuour bikes safe."

Kicking off Culture Days this Friday will be the annual Makers Market along Main Street North.

Also new this year is the Celebration of Cultures weekend from October 3-5, which will include multiple pavillions highlighting various cultures within the city.
