The new Western Manitoba Women's Centre opened this past week in Brandon.
And included in the grand opening ceremony was an announcement of a $100,000 commitment from the provincial government.
The money, which comes from the province's From The Ground Up - Safe Healthy Communities for All protgram, will help add programming and increase capacity at the facility.
The new building, located on Rosser Avenue in Brandon, provides a safe space for women, gender-diverse people, and their children.
