Dauphin's Welcome Week took place last week and is being called a success.
Anna Iemorlenko with Regional Connections was part of the organizing committee.
\"We had around 200 people join our events this year, which is more than last year. I want to give a huge thank you to our committee members, such as Dauphin City Hall, Assiniboine College Parkland Campus, Dauphin McDonald's as a food sponsor, Parkland Regional Library, and DNRC for organizingt and running the events. Their dedication made everything possible."
Events included open houses at both City Hall and Assiniboine College, as well as movie and bowling nights.
Iemorlenko says they have no set plans yet for next year's welcome week, adding that she is excited to hear ideas from the community.
She also hopes that even more people will get involved next year.
