A power outage at the Angusville (Russell-Binscarth Regional) Distribution system,  has led to a loss of water pressure. This means there can be compromising of the safety of the water supply due to the depressurization as a result of the power outage.

Therefore a boil water advisory has been issued.  Until further notice, all water used for consumption should be brought to a rolling boil for at least a minute before it is used for: Drinking and ice making; preparing beverages - such as infant formula; preparing food - including washing fruits and vegetables; brushing teeth.

It is not necessary to boil water for laundry or washing dishes. Young children should be sponge bathed (to avoid ingestion of water). Older children and adults who can avoid ingesting the water, can wash, bathe, or shower. If boiling water is not practical, an alternative safe water supply should be used for consumptive purposes - e.g. bottled water.
