Founded in July 1979 by the late Myles Haverluck, the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy has been a steady and caring presence in Dauphin.
In 2019, DCP transitioned to a new ownership team consisting of Sara Watson, Kari Hanneson, Barret Procyshyn, and Kristen Haverluck. It remains completely locally owned and independently operated.
Since the DCP's doors opened for the first time, it's been more than 45 years of showing up, lending support, and being there for you when needed.
Compassion and community care, that's what you get at the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy.
"I think it gives you satisfaction at the end of the day, knowing that you're helping people in your community, and making a difference," said Procyshyn. "Why go to work every day just to punch a time clock. I believe over here, we want to make a difference in people's lives. That includes their health and in the community.
Originally from Winnipegosis, Barret graduated from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Pharmacy. He joined the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy in 2009.
He, his wife Tatiana, and three boys are proud to call Dauphin home, and for Barret, working at the DCP is a special journey, one that began 16 years ago.
"My time here has been pretty special. From the day I met Myles Haverluck to now, it's been super rewarding," offered Procyshyn. "Working at DCP means a lot."
The DCP pharmacist team includes Pat Lamborn, Trevor Shewfelt, Kari Hanneson, Sara Watson, David Le, Rachel Sime, and Cassandra VanHumbeck.

"You know, DCP has always adopted a team approach to everything," continued Procyshyn. "Everyone here is dedicated to caring for every person who walks through the door. Winning this award reflects on every person's compassion, professionalism, and community spirit at DCP.
What award is Barret talking about? On Monday, the crew at DCP were presented with a 2025 Sunshine Award.
The City of Dauphin's Sunshine Awards shine a light on those whose efforts foster pride, connection, and quality of life in Dauphin.
They celebrate the people and organizations who quietly, but powerfully, strengthen the community.
"We're very appreciative to the City for recognizing our contributions; we didn't expect to win this award," ended Procyshyn. "It's really an honour. We want to thank our customers. Without their trust and support, we wouldn't be able to give back to the community."
