Marook the Police Dog has done it again.
On Sunday, the Ste. Rose RCMP responded to shots fired inside a home on the Ebb and Flow First Nation. The suspect, who was known to the police, fled the scene on foot. When officers arrived, they learned the disturbance occurred between the suspect and another male in the home.
Shawn Francouer fled into the woods. Marook located him, and he was arrested and taken into custody with a minor injury.
He faces 10 different charges, including discharging a firearm with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and assault with a weapon.
