The Dauphin Friendship Centre is calling all youth in the community.
They're hosting a youth Christmas party on Saturday from 4:00 to 9:00. It's free and guaranteed to be a great night to ring in the Christmas season.
"It's wonderful to meet other youth, and to celebrate the season," said Carrie Lang. "You never know what could happen if you met other youth and made some new connections. We're hoping that more youth will be interested in becoming involved in our youth program and perhaps even become a part of our youth council."
The party is open to those aged 13 and older. Thursday is your last day to register by calling 204-638-5707. You can go with a group of friends or by yourself. There will be prizes up for grabs.
"They're going to have pizza, and lots of goodies," ended Lang. "Candy, chips, and all that sort of jazz. They're going to play some games and have a sleigh ride, so hopefully, the weather cooperates. Hang out, have some fun, make some new connections, and have a great time with the people you'll be with."
What's the forecast for Saturday, you ask? A mix of sun and cloud with a high of minus 19. Not too shabby for a Christmas party and a sleigh ride in the City of Sunshine.
