As winter has arrived in the Parkland, Canada Post is asking homeowners and businesses to keep their property in good shape for delivery agents.

Canada Post is asking for a few things that will help keep their agents safe and packages delivered on time.
- Remove snow and ice from your walkways, driveway, and around your mailbox.
- De-ice your stairs, entrance, and the path to your mailbox, using sand or salt.
- Keep your stairs, handrails, and mailbox free of obstructions and in good repair.
- Turn on outdoor lighting to keep pathways and stairs visible.
- When driving – especially in neighbourhoods – be mindful of delivery agents as they deliver letters and parcels.
Exhaust from your vehicle warming up can make the driveway icy.
