Dauphin Co-op Grocery Manager, Mark Gorchynski, and Grocery manager Matt Pugh recognized that some men don’t seek medical advice until it's too late, and they wanted to change that.
The Men’s Health Fund was established to raise awareness and raise funds for men's health, both physical and mental.
Joan Chetyrbok of the Dauphin Co-op says this yearly initiative will support awareness of men’s health, including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.
It is not always easy to discuss these topics, so raising awareness and funding will assist in providing the support and care they need.
Together with the Dauphin Fire Department, Mark and the Dauphin Co-Op are collecting funds to go toward the Dauphin Hospital Foundation.
