Dauphin Regional Health Centre has announced the arrival of its New Year's baby.
Jack Jody Warkentin was born at 1:51 AM on Thursday, weighing 6 pounds and 13 ounces.
His proud parents are Holly and Joel Warkentin of Fork River.
PMH has also reported that the first birth in any of its hospitals took place yesterday at the Brandon General Hospital.
Brielle Eva Henry was born at 1:16 AM on Thursday, to parents Kendra Henry and Aaron Dayton of Virden.
