Manitoba Infrasturcture has announced that they will be opening the water control structure at the north end of Dauphin Lake.
This will lead to an increase in water outflow, which will result in a change to ice conditions on the Mossey River between Lake Dauphin and Lake Winnipegosis.
The public is encouraged to stay off the river as well as the north end of Lake Dauphin, as the change in ice conditions makes it unsafe for travel and recreational activities.
