A sentencing date is expected to be set next month for a Russell male that pled guilty to several charges of threatening police and public officials.
45 year old Michael Man entered the guilty plea to three counts of uttering threats in Brandon provincial court this past week.
Man was originally charged after several complaints were received in early 2025 that he was sending threatening messages, some of them being directed toward police.
Two other incidents of threats were reported later in the year, one to court workers while another one regarding police was sent to a radio station in Saskatchewan.
