Registration for the Dauphin Friendship Centre's Chili Cook Off ends on Friday. Events Coordinator Jarri Thompson says there will be 2 different prize pools for those involved.

"One is the best overall chili, and one is the best dressed team," said Thompson.

The way they're deciding who has the best chili is very unique, so make sure to bring an appetite.

"We're going to have the community rank the chilis. They're going to come in, they'll get a card, and they'll go around and do some taste testing for every organization who has entered a team," said Thompson.

Aside from having some good chili, Thompson said she hopes the event will be a good way for the community to bond over food.

"We're hoping that organizations will come together and just have some light-hearted competition, a day of laughs," said Thompson.

The event takes place on March 14th, but registration ends soon. For more information about the cook off, and to sign up, visit the Dauphin Friendship Centre's Facebook page.
