A Crane River man has been sentenced to over five years in jail, in connection with a firearm being discharged in that community last November.
24-year-old Ashton McDonald entered a guilty plea in Dauphin Court on Thursday.
Meanwhile, a Brandon man arrested in connection with a pair of stabbing incidents in Dauphin last May has appeared in court once again.
A 25-year-old woman and 53-year-old woman were stabbed in seperate incidents on the same day.
31-year-old Marcus Mclean was in Dauphin Court on Friday, where he was remanded in custody to next Monday.
