The City of Dauphin is asking residents to use the Residential Recycling Depot on 1st Avenue SE properly.
Recently, city staff found a toilet dumped at the site. Toilets are not accepted.
Video footage showed an individual carrying the toilet and leaving it beside the bins on March 16 at 9:37 a.m. Illegal dumping may be subject to enforcement and fines under the City bylaws.
Ongoing misuse of the Recycling Depot diverts staff from essential services, creates unnecessary cleanup costs, impacts the cleanliness and safety of the site, and jeopardizes the future of this service.
