The Dauphin area was mentioned a few times in Tuesday's provincial budget.
The province has put aside $7 million towards construction of the new Justice Centre in Dauphin.
Shovels will hit the ground on that project this fall.
And $1.5 million has been earmarked for Northgate Trails to help with expanding their trail network.
