Rossburn Municipality has announced a precautionary boil water advisory is now in effect for anyone using the Russell-Binscarth Regional Public Water System.
In their Facebook post, they say the scheduled cleaning of the reservoir could potentially introduce contaminants to the water system, so the boil water advisory is just a precaution.
As of now, there is no estimated end to the boil water advisory. Continue to monitor both the Rossburn Municipality Facebook page and 730 CKDM for updates.
