If you are a fan of the TV show "Whose Line Is It Anyway", then this Thursday night is for you
Theatre on the Edge, the Improv portion of Theatre Amisk, is hosting a night of improv in the old fire hall portion of the Watson Arts Centre.
Group member Kirk Nyquist says this will definitely be different from the normal Theatre Amisk performances that people are used to.
"Most often, Theatre Amisk is seen as a scripted act, where people go to see the plays - those are scripted. This is the same group, but our show is unscripted. And part of doing it is the audience is a big part of it. As the audience walks in the door, the audience is going to be made a big part of the show."
Mary-Anne Harvey says it will be a fun evening, full of audience participation.
"We definitely feed off of each other, but we woulso love to be able to feed off of the audience. Through scene creation, and they will also give us some one-liners. I love the game Pockets, where the audience gives us words and verbage to say after the scene has started and you just pull them out of your pocket and try to incorporate it."
The adult-only show begins at 7 pm on Thursday, with admission costs being $10 per person.
