A brief chase west of Dauphin last Thursday has resulted in charges against a 36-year-old man from Saskatchewan.
Just after 10 pm, Mounties attempted to pull over a truck on Highway 5 that had a burnt out head light.
The driver took off and eventually turned on to Road 118 West, where it turned into a farm yard, busted through a barbed wire fence, and eventually got stuck in a wet field.
With the assistance of Marook the Police dog, officers moved in and arrested the driver.
Michael Delome has been charged with impaired driving, mischief under $5,000, and both flight from and resisting a peace officer.
He was taken into custody, while his passenger was released without charges.
