With harvest operations for the most part now complete across the parkland, the Yorkton Exhibition Association is inviting producers to come celebrate it in their community this week.
The 37th annual Grain Miller's Harvest Showdown begins on Wednesday, and promises a very busy week, according to Yorkton Exhibition GM Cheyenne Quam.
"We have some equine events happening inside of the arena, including our heavy horse pulls and chore team competitions. We also have mutton busting, some trick riders coming this year, commercial cattle shows and sales, stock dog competition, and Mazer Group Professional Bull Riding is returning as well."
Quam adds they are expecting close to 2,000 students to take part in their Ag education school tours throughout the week.
