Manitoba Beef Producers Association is bringing a very special workshop to Dauphin later this week.

Research and Extension Specialist Melissa Atchison says the event, set for Thursday afternoon at the Watson Art Centre, will focus on succession planning.
"The cool thing about it is we have a pair of brothers - Chris and Dwayne Thompson - from Saskatchewan, and hey have gone through an intergenerational farm transfer along with a farm merger.  So it is very interesting how they have navigated that within their family dynamic.  And they can talk about different strategies that they have used to get through that how they navigated it."
There is no cost to attend the workshop, but pre-registration is preferred so that they know how many people they will be providing lunch for.
You can register through the Manitoba Beef Producers website.
