The summer of festivals in the Parkland continues this weekend in Gilbert Plains, as the Gilbert Plains-Grandview Ag Society host their annual fair and rodeo.
Ag society president Kevin Boese says there will be plenty to see and do, all for one affordable price.
"$35 will get you in for the weekend, which is probably the cheapest fair anywhere to come watch three days of chuckwagon and chariot races, two days of rodeo, a car show, a market, and a chainsaw guy. Yes, there is so much to do."
A friday afternoon parade, all weekend kids zone, and beer gardens are some of the other highlights of fair weekend in Gilbert Plains.
