Finally, some good news if you have an upcoming trip with Air Canada.

A tentative agreement has been reached by Air Canada and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). After nine hours of talks with the assistance of the chief mediator, a deal will be presented to CUPE, who has an opportunity to ratify it.

Air Canada says that flights will gradually return starting on Tuesday evening. The strike is said to have affected, on average, 130,000 passengers daily.

CUPE represents more than 10,000 Air Canada flight attendants. According to Air Canada, those with cancelled flights will have options. They could incide a full refund or credit towards future travel.
