The Independent Investigation Unit is recommending that no charges be laid against an RCMP officer in Carberry who shot and seriously wounded a woman during her arrest last May.
RCMP say the woman was acting erratically and walking in traffic along the Trans Canada Highway.
They add she resisted arrest, and had an edged weapon at the time she was shot.
