The Municipality of Ethelbert has declared a State of Local Emergency.
The municipality asks drivers to use extreme caution when driving on rural roads. Excessive rainfall has led to washouts and overland flooding.
Public Works is marking and closing roads as necessary. Repairs will begin once the water has receded.
