Watson Art Centre's concert series kicks off next Saturday with a pair of Parkland area signers hitting the stage.
Binscarth's J.R. Charron and Roblin's Ryan Keown will be joined by Mike Sacharko for "Waylon, Willie and Cash - A Tribute To The Highwaymen."
Having played to sold-out shows in places like Winnipeg and Regina, Charron is very excited about how the tour has been received so far.
"We are doing the music of these country legends, but we are also able to put our own spin on some of the songs, and also promote our own independent music at the same time. I would say I am extremely happy with the way things have gone. It has been a big kick-starter and a big boost for our careers here. It is a heck of a show, and I encourage everybody to get their tickets."
Tickets are available beginning on Monday, from noon till 5, at Watson Art Centre.
