Today is a big day for the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation.
A sod turning will take place this afternoon for a new Microtel hotel, which will be owned by the First Nation.
The 76-unit hotel will have a pool and waterslide, as well as a 6,500 square foot conference centre.
It will be located on Highway 10, about two kilometres from Main Street.
