Assiniboine College and the Dauphin Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation are among several organizations combining forces to host the Parkland Works Fall Job Fair.

Set for Tuesday from 1 to 5 at the 8th avenue hall, it will give area students the chance to explore careers in several fields, as well as schooling requirements needed to pursue training in those areas.

Among the groups in attendance will be Prairie Mountain Health, and Recruitment Coordinator Nicole Gulenchin and her team will be ready to discuss the many potential career paths in the health field.

"We are looking for people in support services, such as nutrition, protection, and environmental services.  We are looking for nurses and health care aides.  and there is also therapy, such as occupational, respiratory, and physiotherapy.  As well as administration.  There are a ton of options within Praairie Mountain Health."

Gulenchin feels it is important to provide this information to students so that they can start planning to make sure they have the pre-requisites needed for their post-secondary education.
