It was a great ending to the Russell Take A Year Off lottery for some residents of the community.
Steve and Lil Olynyk from Russell won $500, while Marilyn Hickman of Russell also won $500. Clayton Thompson of Russell won $1,000, and Loretta Laing of Russell won $5,000.
Rachael Livingstone of Cartwright was this year's grand prize winner. She'll receive $1,000 per week for an entire year.
Craig Ransome of Brandon won the massive 50/50. The prize was $29,040. Agnes Linda Betke of Minnedosa won $3,000, and Clay and Lee Wyborn of Hamiota won $1,000. Blane and Karen Bauer of Binscarth took home $2,000.
Cindy Dalrymple of Holland won $3,000.
