The powerful partnership between Dauphin Recreation Services and the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy will continue.

Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy has renewed naming rights for the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Walking Track. The renewal runs through 2036.

The DCP Walking Track is located inside the Parkland Rec Complex. The partnership marks a continued commitment from one of Dauphin's leading community partners to support health, wellness, and recreation opportunities for residents across the Parkland region.

Lindsey Kyle is the assistant general manager at Dauphin Rec Services.

"It's obviously amazing. Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy has always been a big supporter of recreation in our community, as well as supporting other things throughout the Parkland," said Kyle. "We're always grateful to work with them and have them as such key contributors to our community."

Thanks to generous sponsors, you can walk on the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy Walking Track for free Monday to Friday.

The Rotary Club of Dauphin sponsors free walking on Mondays, the South Parkland Healthy Child Coalition sponsors Tuesdays, the Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy sponsors Wednesdays, Aspen Insurance & Re/Max Parkland sponsors Thursdays, and the Dauphin & District Community Foundation sponsors free walking on Fridays.

All Dauphin Rec asks is that you sign in at the front desk before heading to the track.

So if you're looking to stay active this winter, the walking track inside Credit Union Place is waiting for you.

"Especially right now with the cold weather, it's slippery and snowy. We tend to see an increase in people using the track during the winter," ended Kyle. "It's great for anyone. It's wheelchair accessible, so anyone can use the track here, for sure."

In a release, Barret Procyshyn of Dauphin Clinic Pharmacy said the partnership is a natural fit.
