Following the recent snowfall, City crews are executing snow clearing operations on Main Street and in the downtown business area.
They started last night at 11:00 PM.
This work will include clearing driving and parking lanes and pushing snow into windrows in the centre of the roadway.
Windrow removal will take place on Friday, December 12, beginning at 8:00 PM.
The city advised that they kindly ask residents and businesses to avoid parking on these streets overnight tonight and again Friday evening until snow clearing is complete.
This helps our crews work safely and ensures the area can be reopened as quickly as possible.
