Looking for work? You're in luck: the Neepawa Job Fair is on Monday. Marilyn Crewe, Economic Development Officer for Neepawa, said the stats from last year's job fair are promising.
"Last year we had 16 businesses and educators and 226 job seekers attend the event. There were 12 hires, and 11 pending, 1 month after the event," said Crewe.
Crewe said the event is set up so every employer with a table has jobs currently available, so job seekers don't have to guess if there's any availability.
She also said there is no cost associated for attending on either side of the table.
"There is no cost for businesses to have a booth there, and there is no cost for the job seekers to attend," Crewe said.
The Job Fair takes place on Monday at Neepawa Area Collegiate Institute from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For more information, visit the Town of Neepawa's Facebook page.
