Swan River RCMP arrested two women after a pair of seperate shoplifting incidents in the community.
The first happened around 12:30 Monday afternoon at a business on Main Street.
After a search of the area, a 38-year-old woman was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000.
20 minutes later, a report came in of someone shoplifting from a grocery store in the community.
After checking out surveillance video, police arrested a 36-year-old woman later that afternoon and charged her with shoplifting.
Both women were released on promises to appear in court on later dates.
